Exhuasted and in a lot of pain. This hospital stay was longer than expected; six days instead of one to five.
Might update tomorrow. Or not. I get pretty groggy on the pain medication I was perscribed. My brain knows what it wants, but I find it difficult to find the words I want, I giggle at pretty much anything (no matter how stupid), I get dizzy and nauseous a lot, and generally feel loopy. I don't mind - better be a bit snowed on pain meds that in loads of pain.
I leave you with two pictures for the night.
My big bluky heavy plaster cast.
At home around 8 this evening. Reading some emails I missed over the last week while trying not to throw up into the lovely bucket the hospital let me take home. It was just before the home nurse came over (she is lovely!) and I was connected back to my IV pump at home. Connected again from now until the forseeable future.
Now it is time to sleep.
