My external fixator

I keep mentioning my external fixator. I was going to post pictures of it when I updated about surgery, the hospital stay, the ER visit that followed, and Thursday's post-op appointment, but that has not happened yet. Just so everyone knows what I keep refering to, I will post some pictures right now.

It is big and blue an shiny. If I am not careful, it also likes to get caught on things. Under all the bandages are three small incisions, one great big 25 cm long incision, and a grand total of 57 staples. Plus the four pin sites. Some of them look fantastic while others like to keep draining (this is completely normal). Also note my lovely little Christmas tree in the background XD

Oh, I should note that I took these pictures with my computer's webcam. As a result, all of the pictures are flipped the wrong way, making it look like I hurt my left leg when actually this contraption is on my right leg.
